That and liverpool boxing day 78 (0-3)two of the worse defeats i have ever seen us suffer…humiliation,we’ve had higher scoring defeats but them two games were a disgrace to the name Manchester United…..
Good memories of animal and his ICF boys in K stand surrounded by GMP’S finest,at the start of 86/87 we played them again and they come on a couple of GM buses(the slow orange!),parked on the forecourt facing the Scoreboard End.
I don’t think i have seen a fuller forecourt and everyone made there way towards the buses,west ham wouldn’t get off and it ended up with the police forming a line while west ham got off one by one and run to the turnstiles.
We were forced back by police with dogs,horses and vans,even the old hoolie van was driving around in circles filming everything,would love to see that footage!.
*Animal(the mixed race kid off hooligan)passed away a few years ago….
Amazing how all these years later i can sit and talk with the likes of Cass(west ham),Eddie Kelly(leeds),Hicky(chelsea)and meet up with various clubs lads in Thailand and not one cross word,just happy memories of the old days..AMF..

At 17 i have missed out on the terrace days. what a proper football ground should be like. There’s a decent group of us following united around england and europe and hopefully we can keep alive what United and its support are all about. Love the new site too.
